My journey as a “Media All-Rounder”

My studies at the East Bavarian University of Applied Sciences Amberg-Weiden differ from the traditional media design program in that I did not train at a company specializing in a specific area of media production (typically video & audio or digital & print). Instead, between 2015–2020 (Bachelor’s) and 2020–2023 (Master’s), I received a comprehensive education in media production and media technology. What makes the program unique is that it balances engineering fundamentals with creative design, allowing students to set their own focus.

I chose to focus on the production of audiovisual media, with a special emphasis on appropriate audio and sound design—a discipline that is often underestimated.

But I also have experience in:

print design, graphic and web design, app development and design, project planning, photography, TV production, the fundamentals of electrical engineering, digital signal processing, implementing microprocessor-based projects (Arduino, hardware, and programming), and much more.

In my professional life, my extensive expertise and ability to think beyond the scope of my core responsibilities have always served me well.
